The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis was a good show. And like all good movies, it invoked my thoughts. The main gist follows

How cruel can a human heart become. How cold and heartless. Like the white witch. How so many things in our life tempt us in becoming selfish. Like the chocolates (gluttony) and power that tempted Peter.

How sly and cunning that these traps are in place to attack us at our weak spots that we forget our main goal - that is to honour Him. (Like when the witch uses emotional guilt to lure Peter into the trap of telling)

But I suppose at the end of the day or my journey, it would indeed be a great honour to be commisioned at the right hand side of God. Where He would adorn us with titles and it would be a great joy to hear "Well done great and faithful servant, you've run the race well."

Of course it's only by God's blood that we're redeemed. No matter how badly we sinned. That leads me to think. Yes, forgive the sin and the love the sinner. But then again, we cant put two issues separately, so I learnt from cell group, cause one is responsible for one's actions.

Yet what I liked was the ending. Where they came back to reality. That even though those battles happen in the spiritual realm, it is down here that we start the battle. As the lights of the theater are turned back on, and so is our battle on earth.

I think this movie re-enforces what I learnt from Ephesians 6. To put on the full armour of God and step out with the message of peace. In faith, hope and love :)

And on a separate note, I love wild animals. The magnificance of the killer whales when they jump in the air - like in Free Willy. The tigers and lions that roam in the wild. That presumably protect and rule the jungles. The speed of the cheetah's run. Maybe, and maybe, I'll get to ride on them one day, I told Andrea :) "Yeah!" was her reply.

And I learnt another thing today. That anger sometimes can be good. That is of righteous anger.
